Rustic’s Rating⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These edger discs are a traditional style that utilizes a bolt-on system for attachment to the edger machine. They are commonly used for hardwood floor sanding projects and are known for their durability and efficiency. The discs are 7″ in size and feature a mixed ceramic mineral that is able to cut effectively without gumming up finishes on the floor.

To attach the disc, you simply un-bolt the disc, attach the paper, and re-thread the bolt to secure it in place. Some contractors even stack multiple sheets at a time and then remove them as needed, to save time and effort. These edger discs are a great choice for taking off old finishes or for making a floor flat with little to no visible scratches.

3M 7″-5/16″ Reaglite Disc Advantages

  • Great ceramic mineral provides long-lasting, efficient cutting.
  • Easy to attach and remove from the edger.
  • More cost-effective than quick change pads.
  • Cuts and lasts a long time, making it a reliable choice for hardwood floor sanding projects.

3M 7″-5/16″ Regalite Disc Help & FAQ’s

Why is my backing peeling off?2022-08-22T04:40:21+00:00

Either you are overusing the paper and need to change it out or you are using too fine of a grit for the application.

Will these 3M Regalite discs last long on my machine?2022-08-22T04:38:37+00:00

Yes, 3M produces a quality product that really stands up to the abuse. The biggest mistake some flooring contractors make is overusing the disc and heating it up, thus, sticking to the machine or velcro.

Are Regalite discs good?2022-08-22T04:37:16+00:00

Yes, the backing is thick and appropriate for each application. The Regalite mix of grain is good for all phases of sanding. Please note that Regalite is not the best mineral for final sanding as the mineral is different in size because it is a mixture of minerals.
